Orio Style Hake by Marina

Our Grandma of the day is Marina and she will be cooking Orio Style Hake.


  • 3 hake
  • 1 head of garlic
  • Oil
  • Chilies
  • A small amount of vinegar
  • Salt
  • Wholemeal flour


  • Cut each hake in half and each half into thirds
  • Pass each piece of hake through the flour
  • Heat oil in a skillet and brown each piece of hake
  • When the fish are fried, remove them and place the pieces in a casserole dish
  • In the same frying pan, fry a the garlic cloves and chilies
  • When the garlic and chilies begin to brown, remove them from the heat
  • Drizzle each piece of hake with vinegar and place the garlic and chilies on top
  • Enjoy!
